The Bible says in 1John
4:16, "God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God
abides in him." God loves with such a love that Jesus came to this
earth and lived among as one of us to demonstrate that love.
The Bible says in 1John
4:20, "If someone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for
the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom
he has not seen.
Since God demonstrated His
love in such a way, He wants us to demonstrate that love also. That is
the kind of love we desire at Sorrento Baptist Church.
